DrHankison & Romeo

Dr. Kris Hankison

Dr. Hankison is a 1985 graduate of the University of Missouri. After graduation, Dr. Hankison worked for four years in the Chicago area before moving to Wisconsin.

He has advanced training in dentistry and has a special interest in surgery. Dr. Hankison is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association, Northern Wisconsin Veterinary Association (where is a past president), and one of only 18 Wisconsin veterinarians in the American Veterinary Dental Society.

He and his wife have 3 children, a terrific grandson, and an extraordinary cat named Romeo.



Dr. Diane Scott

Dr. Scott is a 1986 graduate of Michigan State University.  She has advanced training and a special interest in avian, exotic and feline medicine.

A member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, Association of Avian Veterinarians, she is also associated with the Houserabbit Society and Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians.

Dr. Scott and her husband have two children as well as two cats, two dogs, four horses and a parrot.

Dr. Curtis

Dr. Valerie Curtis

Dr. Curtis is a graduate of Purdue University, School of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in a mixed animal practice for 3 years prior to joining our hospital in June 2008. 

Dr. Curtis has a special interest in pet wellness, zoonotic diseases (those diseases that can spread from animals to people) and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Curtis shares her home with her husband, Chad and 2 cats, Waldo and Zeike. Her Thoroughbred horse, Frisco Bay, has been her companion for 22 years.
