...my deepest thanks to Dr. Curtis and her staff. This summer we brought our family dog, Sheila to see Dr. Curtis. Sheila wasn't feeling well (and) after Dr. Curtis and her team examined Sheila, they (found) she had diabetes. Over the next few months, Dr. Curtis regulated Sheila's insulin. This wasn't easy for her because we were financially strapped and could only do some needed tests. Because of Sheila's age and highly uncontrollable diabetes we have decided to regulate her in other ways. with that said, what I would like everyone to know is that we would do it all over again. Dr. Curtis is an understanding and caring veterinarian and the staff at Oakview are all great people to work with. They truly care about your pet. Sheila is doing well and we would like to thank Dr. Curtis and the staff at Oakview for all their hard work. |

This past August we brought our beagle, Ginger, to see Dr. Curtis for a second opinion. Ginger had somehow hurt her back, and by this time, lost most of her ability to even walk. We had been told there was nothing that could be done but Dr. Curtis, bless her soul, felt it more important to make sure Ginger was comfortable and no longer in pain. It was hard work getting Ginger better but I felt I had someone who I could call with questions if something arose. We were never pushed into a route of care that we weren't comfortable with, and had all our options explained to the fullest. With the expert care she gave, Ginger is walking and playing again. We know what to watch for and that if anything happens, help is just a phone call away.

Great News! I was accepted in the Study and Internship Program in Syndey this spring. I'm extremely excited about this opportunity. Thanks again...for everything you did for me this summer. Working with you was one of my most fun and educational veterinary experiences thus far and I truly consider you a mentor. |
