Dr. Larissa is originally from New Zealand but has lived in the Stevens Point area for the last 20 years.
She considers both places home and loves to chat about her experiences and traveling. Dr. Larissa recently graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Iowa State University. She brings with her an enthusiastic interest in internal medicine and preventative care. She started her journey with Oakview back in 2012 when she was an undergraduate student intern, being mentored by our staff for a few years and helping out in our kennels!
Dr. Larissa also has a big appreciation for conservation medicine and has studied many places around the world including Costa Rica, South Africa, Germany, Iceland, Poland, and St. Kitts.
In her spare time, she loves reading, playing board games, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and family.
