Our Hospital

Oakview Veterinary Medical Center is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house ultrasound and x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.

At Oakview Veterinary Medical Center we strive to offer not only sound advice but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn’t feeling well but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

Our Mission

“Oakview is a great clinic because of the high standards and great quality of care you offer.” Andrea Fountain, CVT

Our Hospital Mission: We strive to achieve excellence in compassionate veterinary medical care for our patients and personal service to our clients.

AAHA Accredited

Our hospitals are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

AAHA is the only organization that accredits veterinary practices in the United States and Canada. Practices that choose to pursue accreditation are evaluated on stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of veterinary medicine—from pain management and patient care to team training and medical recordkeeping—and are continuously updated to keep accredited practice teams at the forefront of the profession.

Today, only 12%–15% of veterinary practices in the US and Canada hold the “AAHA-accredited” designation.

At Oakview Veterinary Medical Center, we are a progressive, small animal medical, surgical and dental practice that provides patients and clients with all of the benefits and safety that modern veterinary medicine has to offer. Our facility has evening and weekend hours available to meet our clients’ needs. Our doctors treat:

  • Dogs
  • Cats
  • Birds
  • Rabbits
  • Reptiles
  • Ferrets
  • Small mammals (such as Guinea Pigs, Rats, Mice, Hamsters and Gerbils)
