Cryotherapy
At Oakview Veterinary Medical Center, it’s of utmost importance to offer our clients a wide variety of services. That’s why we’re excited to offer Cryotherapy!
What is Veterinary Cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy is the usage of extreme cold to discard abnormal or diseased tissue. The application of intense cold will result in the targeted tissue’s death and the numbing of surrounding nerves, which in turn reduces any discomfort.
When applicable, we can use cryotherapy as a noninvasive option instead of traditional surgery for a variety of treatments including:
- Wart removal
- Mass removal
- Skin ailments
