Veterinary Assistant

I graduated in 2005 from UW-Madison with a BS in Zoology. My hope of a career with animals was delayed working in quality control for the next nine years in the Milwaukee and Chicago areas, until in 2014 I became a caretaker at the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago and transitioned into vet assistant role in their spay/neuter clinic.

I moved to central WI in 2017 to be closer to family and was happy to continue using and growing my skills as a veterinary assistant at Oakview. In my free time, I spend quality time with my six cats, and two chihuahuas…all rescues. I enjoy reading political non-fiction, dystopian fiction, crafting, drawing, and spending time in nature.
